on the road to vegas....

TX-AZ....

first thing we did when we got to new mexico was go the the apple store! are second one of the trip!

they were super nice there and gave chris a new phone.. so that was good! 

from there we headed to a few skateparks.. they were NUTS! not like i know shit about skateparks, but i knew they were crazy! we went to one smaller one that i road around on my beach cruiser! that was really fun!!!!!!!!!

so 3 skateparks later we hit the road again! off to AZ to see the grand canyon...

we drove into the night and slept in the car at a walmart in AZ that night... we locked the bikes up and slept in the back of the wagon..

we awoke in the walmart parking lot and headed to the grand canyon!! yaaayy! we seen it and it was awesome! it was chris first time seeing it... we took a bunch of pictures and even walked or as chris would say "hiked" down a little bit into the canyon...

from there we headed to CA!!!!

we drove and drove and drove and got to New Port beach...! it was amazing and beautiful and the air felt soo good!  by the point i have already had been sick with a cold for awhile... but that fresh beach air made we feel so good! we walked around and i ran around in the sand! i LOVE the beach so much.. best place ever.. 

we slept in a walmart parking lot that night... that makes 2!

the next morning we woke up and headed to Las Vegas!!  WOOOOOO!!!!!!!

a lot of driving and a lot of pictures... im gonna add the pictures later to these post and also fill in the rest of the funny stuff i forgot cause its 3:33 am right now! aye!!

ok im going to bed and gonna finish catching up this trip and remembering funny shit!

a 2 week late update...(Krazy Fest)

ok so im not sure where i left off, all i know it was pretty much 2 weeks ago...


the lack of internet has been a major bummer!!

so lets see... the first morning we awoke in louisville it was chris birthday! he turned the ripe old age of 26.. closer to 30... aye!
so we went out for some major yumminess... VIVA waffle house!! sooo good.. yummy yummy..
after that we decided to go swimming. The pool was SO warm and SO good! no one else was in it and we had so much fun and i stayed in the longest i ever did in a pool..
feeling so good and happy we headed back up to the room and decided to go out to eat some foods... we headed off to Steak and Shake... before we went chris asked me to grab the Ipod and i couldnt find it so just assumed it was in the car.. while in the car on the way to S&S it wasnt in the car either.... dun dun duuuuuun...
disaster arose when we got back to the room and realized it was GONE! we took everything apart and looked under, over, in , around... EVERYWHERE!
it was gone... :(
we remember seeing it before swimming.. the only thing we could think is that the cleaning lady done grabbed that shit up! ahhhh just other bout of bad luck or us....BAD SHIT #1
oh and we saw Small Brown Bike... and some other bands.. what evs..

Day 2 of louisville .......
I already cant remember what happen.. we def went swimming and def ate taco bell... (we did that almost every day of the first few days of our trip)
went to the fest and saw Hot Water and 7 Seconds....
the actual fest was pretty weird.. out side stage and one inside.. inside one was WAY better... both hot water and 7 seconds played in there because it was raining CATS and DOGS! ... ok not really animals but it was raining like KRAZY... (<- bad joke..) though the rain gave me a great reason to wear my TOTALLY awesome Phillies rain coat!!! and i loved that also talking shit to a mets fan... 7 Seconds was soooooooo good.
To anyone who said that they are not that good live... GO FUCK YOUR SELF! they were fully fun !
oh and almost forgot Onelinedrawing played this same day!! that was actually amazing.. soo good and i knew EVERY song! AND he covered a 7 seconds song! FUCKING AMAZING! only down side was that most of the people there didnt really know any of his stuff... im so used to seeing him play at his own shows and the kids singing along so loud! its ok though, I sang SO loud!
after the fest shows were over we went back to the room and relaxed..
then headed out to some house show in search of Mikey Erg... well after chris asked a few kids we found out were he was gonna play... but by the time we got there we missed him... the place were all the kids were hanging out and playing was in the pool room! it was amazingly hot in there and the kids were all singing along and playing in the water while this girl and this boy played acoustic guitars and sang...
we chatted with some people and had some laughs....

Day 3 of louisville...
we got up and met up with a family friend of chris family... it was really fun! and the food was super yummy! and they took us to the apple store where chris got a new ipod! and they let chris drive their MK6 GTI ! he was VERY excited... the car was amazing!
from that we did something at some point we headed to the fest... there we saw The Bouncing Souls and Ensign.... Souls were ok i guess.. they played a lot of new stuff... havent really seen them where i was standing in the crowd .. ( last time i seen them i was 9 months pregnant and sitting on a floor..) I guess i miss when i used to know all the songs!
Ensign played really good and were extra fun.. today no one really watched them... just a few kids! but still good...
after a while we just decided it was time to hit the road... so thats just what we did...

pretty much day 4
I cant really remember much but all I know is that we drove all night long and stopped twice to sleep in the car... and by the next night made it to Amarillo TX!
there we stayed in a motel and went to hooters.. WORST hooters EVER! they took forever to serve us and the food was COLD...YUCK!
that night chris went to charge his phone ... take a WILD guess what happen... yep you guessed it or maybe you didnt... it wouldnt charge!
lets see that makes BAD SHIT # 2 !

oh and at some point we went to the louisville skatepark.. that was pretty cool !
